Thank You – I am one of the grandchildren of Henry & Judy Spence, and I wanted to say thank you to your church members who provided the meal for our family and who helped in many ways behind the scenes in order that we would have a lovely service for my grandfather.  I am a member of the Ladies ministry team at my own church, and I know firsthand how much work goes into preparing a large meal and cleaning up afterward and I thank you for your efforts on behalf of my family.  Your church played a huge role in the lives of my grandparents, my aunts and uncles, and my dad for many years, and I thank you for your faithful ministry.  Sincerely, Ashley Spence Terry.

Weekly Prayer Focus: Pray for all our Blue Rock camps.

"Walk Through Bethlehem" - Saturday, December 16th 5:00 – 8:00 pm

The worship team of First Church of Christ has decided to take on a new event this December for our church family. A “Walk Through Bethlehem” on the evening of December 16th will be a "live-nativity" indoor and outdoor experience from our church to our families and the community depicting the city of Bethlehem at the time of Jesus' birth. This event will be planned and presented by our church family and will be meant to warm our hearts and inspire all of us this Christmas season. We are asking you to save the date to invite family and friends to this upcoming event. We will be needing many volunteers for this live-portrayal event (anywhere form parking lot attendants, refreshment servers, live animal help, talking guides and of course costumed characters portraying the people of Bethlehem and the nativity). More information will be coming this August to continue planning. Start praying now for your place in FCC's "Walk Through Bethlehem" this Christmas season.

Please indicate on your communication card if your prayer request/praise is to go only to the elders or also to be shared with those who pray every Sunday in the prayer room.07092017
