October Food Cupboard Needs: mac & cheese, cereal, scalloped potatoes, tuna, soup, soda crackers, canned fruit, toilet paper, bars of soap

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD -- Help us reach a goal of sending 600 shoeboxes to help impact kids for Christ.  Every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship—transforming the lives of children and their families through the Good News of Jesus Christ.  In addition to the items you assemble -- each shoebox will contain a New Testament Bible and a booklet telling about Jesus Christ, written in the child’s own language, entitled “The Greatest Gift of All.” Each child will also have an opportunity to attend a 12-week study to learn about Jesus.  Matthew 28:19 tells us to “. . . go and make disciples of all nations. . . .”  What an opportunity for us to be a part in helping reach others for Christ.

On Sunday, November 5th at 5:00 pm, there will be a Shoebox Packing Party at FCC to assemble hundreds of shoeboxes.  Shoebox Items Still Needed:  Washcloths, Combs, Hairbrushes, Pencil Erasers

Some Optional Items Include: T shirts, Shorts (elastic waists), Socks, Flip Flops, Baseball Caps, Nerf Type Balls

Ways to help at FCC craft session Tuesday, Oct 17 at 6:00 pm: sew pillowcase dresses and, make, jump ropes, assemble pencil boxes, dress Barbie dolls, etc.  All willing helpers are welcome.  Only 3 weeks are left before assembling the shoeboxes.
